What a wild night our October meeting was.  The committee arrived expecting a possibly calmer atmosphere than some months - speakers don't often bring the same crowds as activities - when we were totally shocked by having a huge queue!  22 visitors! 17 new members! We've grown by over 40% in one night. WOW!

Our speaker for the evening was Millie from Hestia Wandsworth  who updated us on the work they are doing in our community through the women's refuge and ways we can help. WWI has been a long-time supporter of Hestia Wandsworth (which was previously known as Wandsworth Women's Aid).  We are glad that we can support them again this holiday season and hope you'll take part!
