February meeting | Secret Pillow Project
to speak to us about The Secret Pillow Project. TSPP is a social enterprise helping to empower and employ women in India through education and financial independence which was founded and is run by local resident Fritha Vincent. We learned about the work they do to help women both help themselves and then help others in their community. The secret pillows (pillows which unfold into blankets) that we got to see were quite beautiful and well-made. It was wonderful to learn about such a wonderful and empowering project!
