While our usual venue at The Devonshire is being remodeled, we found a temporary (and much smaller!) space nearby at The Grove this month.  Our speaker was Jane from Contact The Elderly. She spoke to us about the work the organisation does in helping to keep isolated older people from being quite so lonely through monthly tea parties. We learned about how we as individuals could get involved how we might help elderly members of our community.
