February Meeting | Pompom headbands

The women of Balham WI are a craft-loving bunch. So when we had to move our February meeting to a one-off Wednesday due to a conflict at our venue (pesky Valentine's Day!), we were not deterred!

Our friend Katie from The Sewcial Circle, a multiple time BWI presenter, came along to lead us in the creation of some super fun pompom headbands. Perfect for festivals, parties, or just a jaunty run to the shops.

Making the pompoms themselves was great fun and Katie made sure everyone was confident in attaching them to the Alice bands - hot glue was on hand for those less trusting of their knotting skills. Creations ranged from petite and dainty to giant and OTT, and everyone had a lot of laughs and we all left excited for the fun of pompom makers!
