BWI Christmas Meal
On 5 December, a large group gathered at Gazette in Balham for food, friendship, and fun! It was a great night out for all involved.

Although none of our teams emerged victorious, everyone had a great evening out and the cakes were really quite tasty.
Games night!
Another fabulous BWI social night was had this month. We had a games night playing Cards Against Humanity. A few husbands & partners joined in for a rousing (and rather ribald) night out. Lots of laughs were had, and Heléne came away as the grand champion of the evening!
Bingo night!
Our January social outing was great fun. A handful of us met up at the gorgeous Gala Bingo in Tooting for some classic silliness. They were so glad to see a group of ladies out together that we were even treated to a bottle of fizz! It was a silly bit of fun and we even had 1 big win in the group! Another fab night out for the ladies of BWI.
Weeknight Axe Throwing!
The best ideas always come from our members. A couple ladies were planning to head to Whistlepunks Axe Throwing, and it was a fabulous idea to transform that into October's WWI social night. Some of us had seen & tried axe throwing at Tea & Tents this summer and were keen to try it out here in London.
A handful of ladies headed to Whitechapel to learn the form of hurling sharp objects at targets. Fun was had by all and no one got hurt. Winning all around!

Social nights
February featured not just one, but 2 WWI social nights! On the 17th a few ladies headed out to Gala bingo in Tooting for some silly fun and on the 24th some of us met up at The Science Museum for their monthly Lates evening. Interesting displays, special interactive sessions, games, and screenprinting made it a fabulous night out.We always put notice of upcoming social events on our Facebook group and across social media if you happen to have missed them in your newsletter. The next event will be swing dancing in Clapham Junction on 14 March.

WWI at the Science Museum
A brave group of WWI ladies (& a few willing partners) met up at The Science Museum on 25 February for an outing to the monthly Science Museum Lates. This month's theme was, in keeping with the romantic season, Sexuality. We played drag bingo, learned about ancient phalluses in archeology, took in the participant-made art exhibit of penis drawings, and played a nipple-shaped light up memory game among a number of other things both amusing and educational. It was a fun night out for all involved.

We meet on the 2nd Tuesday of every month, from 7pm to socialise for a prompt 7.30pm start at The Bedford, 77 Bedford Hill, SW12 9HD, upstairs in the cocktail bar.
